Brink helped California open the year a home victory win and a short-handed tie over the weekend. He posted a 1.50 goals-against average (GAA) after making six saves and facing 35 shot attempts over 180 minutes. Brink made one save on eight shots on Thursday in a 2-1 victory against Wheeling. The 6-foot-0 junior then tallied five saves while facing 27 shots, including 10 attempts in the final 14 minutes with the Vulcans down to just nine players, in a 2-2 tie at Shippensburg on Saturday.
