Etienne received All-America honors in both the long jump and triple jump over the weekend at the NCAA Championships. She broke the school record while finishing seventh overall in the triple jump with a distance of 12.46 meters (40-10.5 feet) to earn First-Team All-America status in the event. Etienne also collected Second-Team All-America laurels in the long jump while in Virginia. She finished No. 12 in the event with a mark of 5.81 meters (19-0.75 feet). The Delaware County native became Cal’s first-ever field athlete to be designated an All-American in multiple events at a single NCAA Championships.
