Ozimek recorded the top mark in the PSAC this year in the long jump at the SPIRE Midwest Open on Saturday. He won the event with a personal-best distance of 7.11 meters (23-4.0 feet) to qualify for the league championships in the event.  Ozimek also posted the second-best mark in indoor program history in the long jump behind only the record of 7.16 meters (23-6.00 feet) set in 2023.
