Means broke his own school record and improved his PSAC-best time in the 200-meter dash on Friday at the Fastrack National Invitational in New York. He won the event with a time of 21.49 seconds, which is tied for the eighth-fastest time in NCAA Division II this year and eclipsed the school record by one-hundredth of a second. Means also finished third in the 60-meter dash behind a pair of NCAA Division I sprinters with a time of 6.89 seconds.
