Thrush captured the individual title for the second time this year on Saturday, as the Vulcans competed at the Daniel Mullen Memorial Invitational hosted by Muskingum. He won the eight-kilometer race by over 23 seconds with a time of 27 minutes, 23.2 seconds. Thrush helped the Vulcans finish second in the team standings at the event in Ohio while competing for the first time in three weeks.
