Mercer averaged 5.50 digs per set last week, as California registered three home wins to improve to 12-2 overall – its best start to a season since the 2012 campaign. She finished with 11 digs, four assists and one service ace on Tuesday in a 3-0 win over Glenville State. The Ohio native then recorded 18 digs, five assists and one service ace in a 3-0 victory against Bloomsburg on Friday. Mercer closed the week with a career-high 26 digs, along with five assists, on Saturday in a 3-1 win over Lock Haven.
