Schuessler broke a 20-year old school record in the pole vault on Saturday while competing at the Ed Fry Invitational hosted by IUP. She won the event and qualified for the PSAC Championships by clearing a height of 3.40 meters (11-1.75 feet) on her third attempt at the height. She eclipsed the outdoor school mark of 10-3.0 feet set in 2005 after setting the indoor school record in the pole vault this winter.
