Bernarding qualified for the league championships in the 800-meter run over the weekend at the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational hosted by Liberty. He posted a time of 1 minute, 54.11 seconds while competing in a field of primarily NCAA Division I entries in Virginia. Bernarding ranks third on the PSAC Performance List in the 800 meters this winter.
