DeShields averaged 17.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.0 steals per game, as the Vulcans earned a pair of victories last week in PSAC West play. He shot 55.6 percent (10-of-18) from the floor while playing 29.0 minutes per game off the bench. DeShields posted 12 points, seven rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals in a 78-74 win over IUP on Wednesday. The Uniontown native then scored 23 points on 7-of-10 shooting and eight-of-eight from the free-throw line on Saturday in a 106-84 victory over league-leading Gannon. DeShields also added six rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals versus the Golden Knights.
