Miller posted a NCAA ‘B’ qualifying time in the 50 freestyle and reached PSAC qualifying standards in five events (50/100 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 100 backstroke, 200 IM) over the weekend, as the Vulcans competed at the TYR ’85 Invitational hosted by Liberty. She accounted for 68 points in individual events and was a member of the team’s five fastest relay teams while in in Virginia. Miller reached the NCAA cut in the 50 freestyle for the first time this year with a time of 23.76 seconds as the leadoff leg on the 200 freestyle relay. The York native qualified for the consolation finals in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 100 butterfly over the weekend, plus competed in the bonus finals of the 100 backstroke and 200 IM. Additionally, Miller posted the fifth-fastest time in school history in the finals of the 100 freestyle after touching the wall in 52.04 seconds.
