Ekoniak carded a top-10 individual finish while playing at the PSAC Championships over the weekend for the first time in his career. He tied for seventh overall after shooting a five-over 221 (77-73-71) in a field of 54 golfers. Ekoniak tied for the event lead with 13 total birdies after firing seven birdies in the final round, including five on the back nine. The Ohio native helped the Vulcans finish fifth in the team standings at the league championships, their sixth top-five finish over the last decade.
