Rugiero averaged 3.64 kills, 3.45 digs and 4.36 points per set over the weekend, as Cal posted a 2-1 mark at the Wildcat Den Classic hosted by Daemen. She posted a .379 hitting percentage in 11 sets and tallied a pair of kill/dig double-doubles while in New York. In the opening match on Friday, Rugiero finished with 10 kills while hitting at a .562 clip and nine digs in a 3-0 victory over Davis & Elkins. The Italian sophomore then collected nine kills, 11 digs, two service aces and two blocks later that day against the host Wildcats. Rugiero closed the weekend by establishing career highs of 21 kills and 18 digs in a 3-2 victory over Ohio Dominican on Saturday. Against the Panthers, she registered a .447 hitting percentage and added three service aces while accounting for 25.0 points.
