Franklin shattered a pair of all-time league records and recorded the fastest time in the country this year in the 100-meter dash over the weekend while at the Bison Outdoor Classic. She smashed the PSAC all-time record in both the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash while at Bucknell. Franklin posted a time of 11.27 seconds in the 100 meters, which is the top NCAA Division II time this spring by seven-hundredths of a second and eclipsed her own school and league mark by 0.28 seconds. The Philadelphia native cruised to the victory in the 200 meters by over seven-tenths of a second after crossing the finish line with a time of 23.13 seconds. Franklin destroyed the all-time conference record set two weeks ago by 0.52 seconds after the previous mark of 23.83 seconds stood for over two decades. She crushed her school record set at last year’s league championships in the 200 meters by 0.79 seconds and currently sits third on the national performance list in the event.
