Muckley posted 6.0 scoreless innings in a 7-0 victory against Alderson Broaddus on Wednesday in non-conference play. He scattered just three hits and issued three walks while making his first start in over three weeks. Muckley utilized just 65 pitches (42 strikes) as the Vulcans recorded their first shutout victory of the season.
