Thrush qualified as an individual for the NCAA National Championships on Saturday after placing sixth overall at the NCAA Regional Championships. He posted a time of 29 minutes, 35.8 seconds over the 10-kilometer race to finish in sixth place in a field of nearly 165 entries. Thrush helped the Vulcans record their best team finish at the regional race since 2014, which was the last time the program featured an individual qualifier for the NCAA National Championships.
