Zimmerman registered the first individual title of his career on Saturday, as the Vulcans opened the season by winning the Daemen Alumni Invitational. He won the eight-kilometer race held in the Buffalo area by over 22 seconds with a time of 26 minutes, 52.8 seconds. Zimmerman helped California earn the team title with 20 points, marking the program’s first invitational title since September 2019.
