Franklin broke a pair of championship records over the weekend and won a trio of league titles at the PSAC Championships. She broke the championship mark in both the preliminaries and finals of the 100-meter dash and established a school and championship record during the preliminaries of the 200-meter dash. Franklin won the league title in the 100 meters with a time of 11.66 seconds in the finals after the previous mark was held since 1984. The Philadelphia native eclipsed her own school record in the preliminaries of the 200 meters and broke the championship mark, also set in 1984, with a time of 23.92 seconds on Saturday. Franklin also was the second leg on the 4x400-meter relay that captured the program’s third relay title in the last three years. The 5-foot-10 standout was chosen the Outstanding Track Athlete of the PSAC Outdoor Championships following the events on Sunday.
