McCaskey registered the first complete-game shutout of his career in Game 1 of a four-game series against Pitt-Johnstown over the weekend. He tossed 8.0 scoreless innings (100 pitches) in a 1-0 extra-inning victory at UPJ on Friday. McCaskey yielded six hits and two walks while recording nine strikeouts in the win. The two-way standout also extended his hitting streak to nine games after collecting a hit in each game of the series. McCaskey tallied four RBI and three runs over the weekend, highlighted by a two-run homer, while posting a .429 on-base percentage.
