McCaskey earned the first complete-game victory of his career and collected four hits over the weekend in the series against Gannon. In Game 1 on Saturday, he allowed two runs (both earned) and scattered five hits and two walks over 7.0 innings (110 pitches) in a 7-2 victory. McCaskey also tied his career high with nine strikeouts against the Golden Knights. The 6-foot-0 junior collected one hit in each game of the weekend series and also drew two walks and scored two runs. On Friday, McCaskey belted a solo homer, his team-leading 10th of the season, in the top of first in a 2-1 win at Gannon.
