Franklin broke the school record and reached the NCAA provisional mark in the 100-meter dash at the Paul Kaiser Classic on Saturday. She won the finals of the 100 meters with a time of 11.65 seconds, which broke the school record set in 2012 by two-tenths of a second. Franklin sits eighth on the national performance list in the event this spring and boasts the top PSAC time by 0.31 seconds. The Philadelphia native also helped the Vulcans win the 4x400-meter relay on Saturday with the fastest time in the league this year at 47.91 seconds.
