Owens recorded a trio of top-five times in school history and accounted for 76.5 points as an individual at the PSAC Championships last week. She qualified for the championship finals in both the 200 breaststroke and 400 IM, placing fifth in each event. Owens posted the second-fastest time in school history in the 200 breaststroke and registered the third-best time in the 400 IM. Additionally, the Greater Latrobe product finished ninth in 100 breaststroke with the third-best performance in school history and qualified for the bonus finals in the 200 IM. Owens also was a member of three relay teams that accounted for nearly 125 points in the team standings at the league meet.
