Samantha Gribowicz enters her fourth year as an assistant coach at Cal U.
Gribowicz currently works as a goalkeeper coach andĀ oversees goalkeeper training for several youth clubs around Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. In 2017, Gribowicz served as the assistant coach for the junior varsity and varsity girlsā soccer teams at Central Valley High School. She has also assisted and been the head coach for various PA West youth soccer club teams since 2014.
As a college goalkeeper, Gribowicz totaled over 900 minutes while playing in 15 career games with seven starts in two seasons at Washington & Jefferson, a NCAA Division III program. As a freshman in 2010, she helped the Presidents capture their third-straight Presidentsā Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship and return to the NCAA Tournament for a third-consecutive year. Gribowicz later transferred to Pittsburgh and helped the womenās club soccer team capture two regional championships and make a pair of appearances at the national tournament in 2012-13.
Gribowicz currently works as a service coordinator at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic (UPMC) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
A native of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, Gribowicz earned a bachelorās degree with a dual major in psychology and German language and cultural studies from Pittsburgh in 2014.
Gribowicz currently holds a āDā license from U.S. Soccer and is pursuing the "C" license. She also holds a United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma and a Level 1 Performance Analysis accreditation through ISPAS.
