A recent thrower with the program, Alex Hayes enters his first year on the staff at California (PA) in 2025.

Hayes competed in five throwing events for the Vulcans from 2021-24. He set a trio of personal records during his junior campaign, including a pair of personal best during the indoor season.

A native of Adams County, Hayes is finishing his bachelor’s degree from PennWest in criminal justice. He was a member of the Cal AD Honor Roll four times throughout his collegiate career.
