A veteran coach at the scholastic and college ranks, Dick Mock enters his fourth season as the linebackers coach.

During his time at Cal U, Mock has played a role in the development of All-PSAC West linebackers London Cloud and Cameron Tarver. Cloud led the team with over 90 tackles last season and ranked among the leaders in Super Region One in TFL per game. Tarver finished his career ranked third all-time in school history in TFL and ranked fourth in the league in 2017 with a career-high 16.5 TFL.

Mock has spent the majority of his coaching career within Cambria County. He started coaching in 1972 before taking the position of defensive coordinator at Richland High School the following year. Mock then served as an assistant at Greater Johnstown High School from 1977-79 and helped mentor Carlton Haselrig, who eventually played five seasons in the NFL after winning six NCAA National Championships in wrestling.

Mock then moved to Georgia for two years and was an assistant at Woodward Academy in 1980 when the school won its second state championship. He returned to the Johnstown area in 1981 and established a financial planning company before returning to the coaching ranks in 2003.

Following stints at Westmont Hilltop and Richland, Mock joined Saint Francis as a volunteer assistant in 2010. He worked with middle linebackers, offensive linemen and outside linebackers while with the Red Flash. He worked alongside Mike Craig as the outside linebackers coach during his last two years at Saint Francis.

Mock, who is a member of the Bedford County Hall of Fame, has two children, Natalia and Gavin.
