GREENSBURG, Pa. (Oct. 12) – The Vulcans scored the game-winning touchdown with 14 seconds left on Saturday evening to post a 28-21 victory at Seton Hill in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action.
NOTES
• Junior wide receiver
Eric Willis III set a season high with 134 receiving yards on eight catches, including two touchdowns.
• He has now eclipsed the century mark three times this season and six times in his career.

Demonte Martin posted five receptions for 77 yards in the win.

Davis Black finished with 251 passing yards and two touchdowns on 20-of-31 attempts with one interception.

Bobbie Boyd, Jr. totaled 72 rushing yards on 17 carries with two scores.

Brandon Choi led the team with eight tackles (two solo) and added 1.0 TFL and one pass break-up.
• Senior defensive back
Dominic Solomon, Jr. tallied seven stops (five solo), while junior defensive back
Rashan Murray posted four tackles and two pass break-ups.

Clayton Rosensteel averaged 46.8 yards on six punts, highlighted by a career-long 61-yard punt.
• California has won all 12 meetings in the series with Seton Hill, including six games on the road.
GAME RECAP
• The game was scoreless through the opening quarter before California took a 7-0 lead on a three-yard touchdown run by Boyd with 7:54 left in the second quarter.
• The Griffins tied the score with 3:16 remaining in the first half after capitalizing on an interception near midfield.
• Cal (5-1, 3-0) responded with an eight-yard touchdown pass from Black to Willis as time expired in the second quarter, 14-7.
• Seton Hill again tied the game midway through the third quarter before Black found Willis for a 75-yard touchdown with nine seconds left in the quarter.
• The Griffins scored a touchdown with 12:12 left in the fourth quarter to tie the score at 21-21.
• Cal started the game-winning drive at its own eight-yard line with 6:31 remaining.
• The Vulcans converted a pair of third downs on the drive before Boyd scampered 23 yards for a touchdown with 14 seconds left to play.

• The Vulcans return to action on Saturday, Oct. 19, when they host nationally-ranked Slippery Rock for Homecoming at Adamson Stadium at 3 p.m.
