SAVANNAH, Ga. (Feb. 28) – Sophomore outfielder
Chuck Faust (Hershey, Pa./Hershey) belted a solo walk-off home run on Saturday to give the California University of Pennsylvania baseball team an 8-7 victory over the University of Findlay in the first day of the Savannah Invitational.
Faust, who entered the game as a defensive replacement in the eighth, ended the game in the bottom of the ninth with his third longball of the season.

Mike Schmidt (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) earned the victory after tossing the final two innings of the game. Junior transfer
Ryan Lavrusky (Temple Terrace, Fla./King/Waynesburg) posted a quality start in his first game with the program, allowing three runs in six innings.

Shayne Busti (Crucible, Pa./Carmichaels) collected a pair of doubles in the victory.
Cal U continues the Savannah Invitational tomorrow, Sunday, March 1, with games against Kutztown University and Findlay.
