MILLERSVILLE, Pa. (Nov. 16) - California University of Pennsylvania senior Shakir McCoy (Huber Heights, Ohio/Tecumseh/Wayne) was named to the NCAA Atlantic Region All-Tournament Team on Sunday.

McCoy and the Vulcans suffered a 3-0 loss to the No. 1 seed and host Millersville University on Friday, Nov. 14. The 5-8 senior led Cal U with three shot attempts in the first-round loss to the eventual-regional champion Marauders.

For the season, McCoy posted a career year with 24 points on eight goals and eight assists. In addition to All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division First-Team honors, the senior received Daktronics Second-Team Atlantic Region laurels last week.

The Vulcans finished the season with a 13-8-2 overall record and made their second NCAA Tournament appearance in school history. Cal U earned the PSAC automatic-qualifier for the 32-team tournament after winning the program's first-ever PSAC Championship Tournament.
