A dynamic goal scorer, Amanda Heister-DelGreco is originally from Palmyra, Pennsylvania, and is a graduate from Northern Lebanon High School. She was a four-year starting forward for the Vulcans from 2006-09 and earned All-PSAC West honors each season of her career.

DelGreco was voted the PSAC West Athlete of the Year as a senior and was an all-region honoree by both the NSCAA and Daktronics throughout her career. She led the team and ranked among the top 10 in the league in goals, assists and points as a freshman. In 2007 under a new head coach, DelGreco tied for the team lead in points and paced the team in assists. She played a pivotal role in the team’s eight-win improvement the following year, as she paced the team and finished among the conference leaders in goals, assists and points. As a senior, DelGreco tied the single-season school record with 19 goals and became the first player with at least 40 points in a season since 1994. She became the first player in program history to receive Athlete of the Year honors and was a consensus first-team all-region selection. DelGreco helped the Vulcans make their first-ever appearances in both the PSAC and NCAA Tournament. The Vulcans advanced to the national quarterfinals and set a then-school record with 19 victories. She holds the all-time school record with both 44 goals and 107 points, as she is one of only two players with least 100 career points. DelGreco set a modern program record with 15 game-winning goals, including seven as a senior, while staring 78 games with the Vulcans.

DelGreco received her bachelor’s degree in justice studies in December 2009. She is married to former Cal U soccer player Zach DelGreco.
