The mission of the Vulcan Athletic Association is to create a scholarship for a student-athlete for every sport within California University of Pennsylvania’s Athletic Department. As a 2003 Athletic Alum of Cal U, as well as an honor’s graduate, I understand that the athletic programs here at Cal U provide students with an experience that helps them to learn and grow in many ways that will benefit them the rest of their lives. Teamwork and support are important not only on the field or court, but also in the boardroom, the operating room and in the classroom.

In today’s climate, the equation is simple. Success is dependant upon an athletic program’s level of contribution. By becoming a member of the Vulcan Athletic Association, for less than a dollar a week, you will be able to direct your money towards the specific sport of your choice and be part of a process that enables student-athletes to fulfill their athletic and educational dreams.

Whether you’re a student, athletic alum, parent of a player, a loyal support of the Athletic Department or a particular program, I not only encourage you, but call upon you to find it in yourself to help support our programs in keeping them  vibrant and successful in their efforts to bring home Championships on every level.
