FOCUS


The 3,000-square foot weight room contains a 30-yard long, 1,800-square foot area for agility and movement training, over 15,000 lbs. of free weights, five Power Racks, seven Olympic platforms, a Life Fitness full multi-station to target corrective exercises and seven Benches. Each student-athlete is given their own individualized program that is designed to improve functional flexibility, core training, balance training, speed training, strength training and power training. The strength & conditioning staff makes sure that all areas of performance enhancement are covered by relying on the high standards that are to be upheld by the athletes. They include motivation, accountability, respect, commitment and hard work. The mission of Cal U coincides with the mission of the Strength & Conditioning program to create the optimal athlete that will carry themselves in a professional manner up holding responsibility, civility and integrity.



MISSION

Our mission is to develop the most dynamic athlete by introducing them to a wide variety of integrated exercises and training protocols. Our programs are devoted to challenge  the athletes under similar stresses that they will encounter during competition to minimize injury. We challenge our athletes mentally and physically, individually and as teams through accountability, hard work, commitment, and motivation to develop superior students athletes.
